My Story
I’ve been a real estate agent for many years, and I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming the process can be, especially when you don’t know who to trust.

There are over 900 agents in Sioux Falls alone. How do you know you’re getting the right one for your unique situation? Most agents try to help everyone, everywhere, instead of being true experts in one type of real estate. And most websites don’t help. They sell your information to dozens of agents, reward the highest bidder, or just connect you with whoever clicks fastest. That’s not how trust is built.

On the service provider side, it wasn’t much better. Big directories are cluttered with hundreds of options, and you’re left to guess who’s actually reliable. Some sites even sell your lead to every company in town.

I created Real Estate Starting Place to fix all of that. Every agent and every business on this site is handpicked. I keep each category limited to just three trusted local businesses—no clutter, no spam, no lead selling. There are no forms to fill out and no hidden strings. Just simple, straightforward help from someone who’s been there.
